Sermons And Lessons

I had the privilege of being born into a pastor's home. My dad led me to the Lord at the age of 5. In 2002, my parents both felt the call of God to go to Cambodia as missionaries. in 2004, at the age of 17, I moved to Cambodia with my parents and younger sister. The two years I spent in Cambodia as a teenager were truly life-changing! I made friends, learned to converse in Khmer, and participated in ministry on a weekly basis. Following the advice of my parents, I enrolled in Bible College with the intent of staying for one year. During the missions conference at Lancaster Baptist Church, I clearly felt God calling me into ministry and leading me back to Cambodia as a missionary. Upon graduating in 2011, I went back to Cambodia and spent a year helping my parents in ministry. During this year, I was able to study the language of Cambodia more in depth and also preach in the language. After returning to the States, I was accepted into an internship program called Advanced Ministry Training. For one year, I was able to intern in three local churches and glean from various seasoned men of God. This program concluded with a 2 week trip to Uganda to visit with a veteran missionary which was especially helpful to me. From 2013 to 2016, I served as the Assistant Pastor at College Heights Baptist Church in Farmington, Mew Mexico under the leadership of Pastor Burson Corley. During my time at College Heights Baptist Church, I had the privilege of running the Youth Department, heading up the music ministry, as well as run ministries like VBS and Youth Conferences. I was also given the opportunity to preach several times each year to our church family. The mentorship of Pastor Burson Corley was also very valuable to me personally. While serving at College Heights, God brought my wife, Naomi, and I together. Through our marriage, God has given me a woman who loves God, loves people, and has a burden for the mission field. We are so excited to see how God will use us in Cambodia as we surrender to His perfect will!
